About the Role
A business development position where you’re purely focussed on winning new clients within the consumer industry. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships and networking with clients across the Consumer industry.
For each new sales opportunity you initiate, you’ll have the choice of three mentors to support you through the process, enabling you to learn from the people you work best with and putting you in control of your development.
These are people who know first-hand what it takes to be successful in the role – Business Owners who have grown their own six figure recruitment desks and have a vested interest in seeing you succeed. They will help you learn the business, your given market, and a range of strategies to add value to them. As you develop, your network will continue to grow, and naturally your position will move further into a blend of account management and business development.
Our founders compare this role to growing your own business within a business, and this comes with all the accountability, demands, and rewards you would expect. Commissions are uncapped, kicker bonus is paid on every pound your placements make. As well as the support from your mentors, you will also have ECW Searches leading technology, resources, and approach at your disposal.
Your Background
Identify and qualify potential candidates to fill the companies’ live vacancies.
Own the telephone – using it to engage and consult with candidates at all levels across a diverse range of sectors. Phone calls will be your primary and preferred method of engaging opportunities alongside using LinkedIn.
Learn your clients’ businesses and work to explore and uncover talent to help them achieve their goals.
Work closely with our Head of Delivery to build and present valuable recruitment advice to our candidates - in time learning how to develop these solutions yourself.
Develop trusted relationships with your candidates to retain their trust and grow your network.
In time, you will learn how to develop new business independently and build your own business plan.
